Fantastic upgrade for 8-year old chair

I bought a second-hand Leap V2 chair about 8 years ago and recently, I started to feel a lot less comfortable sitting on its pads. I wasn't sure whether these Crandall pads would do the trick, but they are almost twice the thickness of my previous pads and incredibly comfortable. I love sitting in my chair again now!

I was also hesitant about the shipping and installation processes but they turned out to be quite easy. The instructional video was easy to follow and accurate, and the return process was smooth.

Great refresh!

The new seat and back cushion are very comfortable and the material feels durable. Very easy to swap out and mail back the old seats as well!

I will say that the only thing that I was surprised by is that the color of "Pebble" doesn't look like the photo on the website. I'm okay with this color but just wanted to give others a heads-up that it is far more grey and less saturated than depicted.

Great padding, easy installation

Title says it all. I’ll keep the email in my inbox and provide another review if my opinion changes considering I’ve only had the new upholstery for less than a week.

Should've done this years ago

My lower back was starting to really hurt and I was going through all sorts of issues trying to figure it out. Was it my new mattress? Was it old age catching up? Was it this or that. I started to arrive at maybe it's my chair. I tried the two popular seat pads available on Amazon and they kind of helped but totally threw off the ergonomics of my chair. I was even considering just getting a used Aeron until I saw Crandall's pad replacement. I looked at the sticker on my chair and it was manufactured 15 years ago, so obviously the padding was done.

I got the bioknit fabric and regular padding back rest and their improved seat padding. Wow. Seriously! It took 10 minutes to replace (already had an 8" screw driver) and after the first few days I really don't have the back pain I was getting before. Granted, I'll keep up with stretches and PT work to strengthen my back, but this really was a great investment. I regret spending $200 on those Amazon pads and should've just done this in the first place.

Great upgrade for my Leap V2

This was a great upgrade for my Steelcase Leap V2. I really like the fabric, both the feel and the color (orange). The installation was very easy thanks to their videos. Highly recommend Crandal for their upholstery services!

Better than brand new

We are extremely pleased with Crandell’s full chair upholstery service. Our leap chairs are like new, only better. We chose the upgraded back pad and it is definitely worth it. The process was simple and the videos are great. My husband ordered his Leap full chair upholstery + new foam seat pad first. After we saw the quality of the product, I immediately ordered mine. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner. Leap chairs are built to last, but upgrading the chairs with Crandell’s service is highly recommended.

Chair Verification & Refundable Deposit

After receiving your order, our team will contact you to request photos of your chair. This ensures we are upholstering and sending the correct pads for your model. Orders will be on hold until these photos are received and verified.

Our upholstery service is a full reupholstery service, not just the sale of new seat and back pads. To maintain our inventory and continue offering this service, we require the original seat and back pads to be returned to us.

A $100 pad return deposit is included with every order. Once the old pads are sent back using the provided prepaid return label, this $100 deposit will be refunded to your original payment method.

Failure to return your original chair pads will result in a void of your upholstery and pad warranty.
