Steelcase Leap V2 Ergonomic Office Chair - Remanufactured by Crandall

I ordered the top activated cylinder for my Leap V2 and it was a perfect replacement for a chair lift that was sagging. The new one came wrapped in a protective plastic netting. Getting the old cylinder off the seat portion took quite a bit of effort with a pipe wrench since there was a bit of rust on the old cylinder. The new cylinder was a perfect replacement and seems to have a slightly larger range than the old one. At maximum height with roller blade casters, the seat is at around 23.5 inches off the ground.

I got these arm pads to replace the original arm pads on my Leap V2 that had bubbled up and had a somewhat sticky texture. Taking off the old arm pads was easy and with a bit of squeezing, I was able to fit the new arm pads on and screw them in. The new arm pads are very comfortable and have a nice matte texture.

This is the best office chair I have ever had. With my neck and back problems, sitting in this chair is such a relief! So thankful for you guys. I can finally afford a steelcase. Looks like new and i found it was really easy to put together, just watched their tutorial video and read the instructions, took me about an hour because I'm a bit neurotic and wanted to make sure I was doing the add ons correctly which there was a video for but only for a swap or not a from start to finish with kit. I added the Hard Floor / Self Braking Casters and the Stool Height Kit with Foot Ring and both were totally worth it Since I have a sit to stand desk.

I was hesitant on a refirbished chair but it looked brand new! I love my leap v2 chair!
I had to lube up a few spots cause it squeaked a bit when reclining but overall well worth it.

I purchased an open-box item for the first time, and I’m very satisfied.

I've been looking at this chair for months. I looked all brands of new chairs, used chairs, etc. I finally ordered the remanufactured chair and it's pefect.

Not only is the Leap 2 comfortable, it's actually really attractive as well. The blue is much darker than it shows in the picture, btw, but still very nice.

I waited too long to order this. The new upholstered replacements were top notch. They look great and the cushions also feel good. This was a very professional service handled very quickly. Thank you for bringing life back to my chair!

This Steelcase Series 1 (refurbished from Crandall) honestly surprised me in the best way. The setup was way easier than expected — everything snapped together cleanly, no tools needed, and nothing felt misaligned or “refurbished” in a sketchy way. I originally hesitated on the color combo because I wanted the fully customized Steelcase version with a white frame and black everything else, but this one actually fits my room and furniture perfectly.
Comfort-wise, it’s been great. I can sit in it for long stretches without feeling sore, and the lumbar support and seat cushion both land in that “just right” zone — not too soft, not too firm. The mesh back feels supportive without trapping heat, and all the adjustments work exactly like they should right out of the box. There were zero smells or chemical odors when I unpacked it.
Speaking of the unboxing, the packaging was solid and protective enough that there wasn’t a single scratch or ding from shipping. Shipping itself was pretty fast too. The casters are smooth and silent on my hardwood floors, and the third-party wheels they include are actually really thick and high-quality.
Even though it’s refurbished, it came in genuinely like-new condition — no nicks, dents, tears, or anything that would hint it had been used before. I’ve been searching everywhere for a reliable place to buy a refurbished ergonomic chair without dealing with Craigslist roulette, and Crandall finally checked that box. For the price, and considering I didn’t want to buy new, this was absolutely worth it.

Reading r/OfficeChairs community’s recommendations and past experiences, I actually sat in a few top tier office chairs to see what might fit my needs. The final choice was the Leap V2 by Steelcase from Crandall Remanufactured Chairs. The total experience was great. I can finally sit at my desk for longer than an hour without any coccyx pain!

This remanufactured chair exceeded my expectations.The Carmel full grain leather is so sexy!Was hard for me to even find any minor blemishes.There was a couple but hard to even see them.Thanks Crandall I love my leap v2!
