Better than the originals

The original Steelcase armrests on my chair were cracked after years of use so I needed to replace them. These new armrests are a nice upgrade.

Feels good - perfect swap out

Real soft compared to factory fresh pads - these probably feel roughly the same as the factorys after a year or so of 8+ hours a day usage. This is a positive as you get to skip that hard as a rock softening journey.

Easy to take off and put on, 4 screws all aligned perfectly. The over moulding does make it to where you need to make sure you actually press down to fit them fully on - not a negative either as it's a firm press fit + screws.

The only negative I can think of with these is that the uniformaty across the top of the pad curls up at the corners leaving a depression in the middle in spots which isn't very even. However after roughly a month of use it does seems to be blending out as the pad settles. I will 100% purchase these for my next replacement.

High Quality, but little "cush".

Not entirely unhappy with the product. They're solid and well-made. They shipped quickly. But the pads don't have nearly the same cush factor the originals had. I guess that can be attributed to the fact that they were leather. All told, I'd shop with Crandall again.
