Crandall support was extremely helpful in "customizing" my order when I wanted a red seat and black back rest.

The thicker cushion on the seat and backrestdefinitely feels a lot heftier, more comfortable, and much more high-quality than the original cushion and upholstery.

I am on the larger side at around 290 lbs at 5'6" and it feels dramatically better. I would recommend buying these if you are on the heftier or larger side. The original made my butt sore after a few hours, but these feel drastically better.

Extremely happy with my purchase. My chair was delivered in less than a week in perfect condition. It looks and feels brand new and the price was WAY better than buying directly from Steelcase. Needed a new cylinder for my fav Steelcase chair. Sent in a picture and got a link to the cylinder I needed and a video on how to replace it. Ordered the replacement, which arrived within a week and swapped the old for the new. Fast, easy, and affordable. The local Steelcase place wanted almost 5 times as much. I love my chair! First, I got it within 3 days of ordering. Second, it took me about 5 min to put together and sit down. I’m still trying it out but so far it’s super comfortable!

My Leap V2 chair is in such good condition I can barely tell it was previously owned. I love the new fabric and padded seat, it's wonderful to get a luxury chair for only 25% of what it goes for retail. I will definitely recommend Crandall to anyone who wants an office chair but doesn't have the money to pay full price.

Got the chair after a long time deliberating either sending in a Steelcase Gesture I have for refurb, or getting something new.
I was able to pick and choose what fabrics I wanted and they look great. The extra padding helps being heavier and having HS (a skin disorder) that make it painful to sit on other chairs.

It came via FedEx Ground in 2 days flat. It shipped out when they completed the custom work (5 to 7 days)

Assembly will be required and be very careful to read and follow the instructions, if you have a side lever tab cylinder disregard the instruction to insert the cylinder in the base first, Instead align the cylinder with the bar in the seat pan first. It makes alignment of it with the bar in the seat pan far easier. Removing the cylinder is a pain, it will require a large pipe wrench. Just align the cylinder with the seat pan first!!

Support is on the ball, and prompt.

Assembly besides that took maybe 30 minutes at most.

I have an older Leap V2 Chair and the armrest cushions were worn out and swelling up. These armrests make the chair feel like new again. Also, a new gas cylinder replacement from Crandall helped too :)

Really impressed by the quality and supportiveness of this chair. The stability of the chair is outstanding and holds everything so well, regardless of position. This chair is at least 50% less than a new one from Steelcase, and might actually be better due to Crandall's new upgraded cushions. Impressed by the cushion quality and upholstery too.

Definitely the most comfortable chair I’ve ever owned. I’m glad I went with the thicker back, it feels absolutely perfect.

The Atlas headrest complements the Steelcase Leap V2 perfectly, making it a complete chair. Hats off to the genius who designed the headrest. I chose the Brisa fabric for my Leap v2 and Atlas. Since the Atlas headrest is positioned behind your neck, your skin(unless you're turtleneck lover) will come into contact with the fabric whenever you're on the chair. It's best to pick a fabric that is very comfy and soft.

Crandal’s Leap Chair V2 Seat Back Pad and Cushion Refurnishing Service is definitely worth it. The extra cushioning, support, and comfort it brings is pure pleasure to my 5 year old chair in my study. Also pay extra $30 and get thicker seat back pad. With return shipping included, it’s no brainer.
The videos on Crandal website are good to watch several times as placing the flexible fabric seat back tabs is a little tricky.

Headrest is perfect. Very comfortable. The only issue I have is that the adjustment mechanism sticks out in the back of the chair and is the first thing to hit the wall.

I have core and mild tailbone issues and I couldn't even sit in my old leap seat anymore. I can comfortably sit in this one without any pain in the tailbone. It is slightly firmer than the original, which is fantastic! I wish it was a bit firmer though. While firmness can feel hard at the beginning, it becomes so supportive and good for the body that it feels very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Having said that, this seat is totally worth the money and I'm very happy Crandall is creating viable options for Leap owners. Thank you Crandall!
