A office chair gas cylinder is the height adjustment mechanism on the chair. The typical life span of a office chair gas cylinder is 4-7 years, depending on use and abuse. If failed, your chair will be left with limited or no height adjustment, however you can quickly and easily replace your broken Steelcase 461 Drive stool gas cylinder today.
Our Steelcase 461 Drive gas cylinders are made to fit all Steelcase 461 Drive chairs.
This cylinder can successfully be used on a standard Steelcase 461 Drive chair, to convert it to stool height, standing desk, sit-to-stand desk, or bar height. Also available is our full stool conversion kit (including foot ring) for the Steelcase 461 Drive chair.
