I ordered a refurbished leap v2 chair from Crandall. I love the chair and I honestly cannot tell what is not new. It was easy to install and feels just as good or better than the new one I tested out.The customer service was excellent. I ordered a week or so before labor day only to find a sale the next day. A quick email and I was given the sale price as my order had not shipped yet. It was great experience and I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a quality chair.

Such a massive upgrade from a cheap office chair.UPDATE: 2 years later still as good as the day I got it. Bought a second one for my wife with custom fabric on it shortly after I got mine. It still looks brand new.I sit in my chair and code and develop software for upwards of 14hrs a day. I could not do that without a chair like this one. I used to have back pain after an hour of sitting in a classic leather office chair or one of those mesh back styled chairs. Even gaming chairs you just can't sit in for as long as you can with something like this.

The ordering and all that was just fine. The fit of the 5-leg base was a problem. Where you were supposed to be able to use a rubber mallet and pop the leg assembly onto the bottom of the cartridge pedestal, that failed to work. The internal lip on the base was just too prevalent and it prevented that from going on, despite a huge amount of force. This required me to grind that lip inside the base down with a Dremel tool and then I was able to secure it. Otherwise all the rest of it was ok.

Contacted Crandall bc the OEM replacement post for my Aeron chair wobbled - from the minute I installed it! Cheap junk. Replacement recommended by Crandall staff corrected the issue and my main work chair is no longer an 'enhanced interrogation' device.

Both times I’ve shopped at Crandall have been great. The Grade B Gesture I got is essentially brand new with a couple of scuffs on the arm I never would’ve noticed. I also really like how it shipped; the box was way easier to handle and much less cardboard to break down compared to the fully assembled chairs. Assembly took less than 10 minutes. Customer service here is outstanding as well. Steelcase, and HM are great too but Crandall has better customer service, way better pricing, and easier shipping.

I sit for 8-10 hours a day as a software developer and needed a better office chair other than the $150 junk I had from Staples so that I wouldn't be an orthopedic basket case before I was 40. For anything good that could easily run you $1,500 without any bells and whistles so I wasn't looking forward to that but you can't put a price on your health so I just steeled myself for that. I found Crandall on Reddit while surfing through the subreddits to help decide on a model I wouldn't regret buying. I'm normally leary of buying anything refurbished or returned having been burned by that before, especially when it's from somewhere 3rd Party. Most of that stuff is often misrepresented or otherwise in worse condition than the seller would lead you believe and conveniently has a not so generous return policy or high restocking fee as if they know you will be returning it. So it's often like gambling and not the exciting kind... However, having seen the love that Crandall got from other customers (and of course the price difference compared to brand new) I decided to gamble against my better judgement on an Authorized return Steelcase Gesture. I'm glad I did because I was not disappointed, the chair is practically new bar some negligible scuffs in the metal frame, the shipping was pretty prompt - about a week - well packaged and with clear reassembly instructions.Though arguably the best part is the customer service. I purchased my chair in August when they were running a pretty generous coupon (30% additional off the already 20% discount) but didn't notice it - and that was totally on me. I mentioned this in some feedback to the owner expecting nothing because again that miss was completely on me. I nearly fell out of my new chair because to my genuine shock and surprise I was refunded the difference. You could never expect that kind of courtesy from Amazon, Wal-Mart etc. So ultimately I got a $1,600 chair for about half the price. Just wow.

I ordered a Haworth Fern from Crandall. I do have to knock off one star because one of the handles for raising and lowering the arms broke off during shipment. I also wish they were a little more upfront about needing to use a certain drill bit to install the chair back onto the base (it’s possible it’s on the product page and I missed it, but I would like it if Crandall included that info more prominently, or maybe in the purchase confirmation email).That being said, the chair is otherwise in excellent condition, and super glue has so far resolved the issue with the handle. Very happy with the purchase overall, and glad to save a good amount of money on a high quality chair!

Today my new chair was delivered and I am very happy. I spent a lot of time reviewing Crandall Office Furniture, watched the videos, looked at the pictures and really just put a lot of thought and consideration into this purchase. To be honest, I was somewhat skeptical but decided to try the Steelcase factory returns and purchased a Steelcase Series 1. I was attracted to the style, quality, reviews and most important for me, fit. My previous gaming chair that I used for work at home was good…but just too big and bit too sporty. I am so happy with my Crandall purchase. It arrived sooner than promised, an excellent price, and it fits me just perfect. The chair looks absolutely brand new. Some of the parts were even wrapped in what looked like manufacturer packaging. I really don’t think this chair was ever used. It certainly does not look it. Super clean, everything fits together right, no scratches or stains or squeaks. It’s perfect. I am very happy with my purchase and glad I went this route. I will definitely recommend (in fact have already) Crandall for excellent products at a great price.

I have purchased a few replacement gas cylinders for various Steelcase chairs through Crandall, and each one has immediately fixed any height adjustment issues I have had. Do not waste your money and buy a cheap cylinder from Amazon, as it will not fix the issue. These cylinders are as close to OEM as it gets. I will be purchasing all of my replacement parts through Crandall from now on.

Excellent customer service. David Crandall himself initiated an after-sales email to contact me. Initially had a challenge locking the Aeron Classic Replacement Mechanism Cover in place. He sent me instructions and a video. The cover snapped shut as he said. It fit my Aeron chair perefectly and is sturdier than the factory cover. Good quality at a great price.

I ordered an open-box return Haworth Zody from Crandall Office Furniture and I had a rocky experience... BUT it was quickly and respectfully resolved by both Kim and David.My chair had a couple of issues, one which was easily fixed with a suggestion from David (petroleum jelly on the cylinder), and one which was only able to be fixed with replacement hardware. Once I provided some pictures, I was quickly sent a replacement arm to attach to my chair and had absolutely no problems from then. Although it wasn't as smooth as ordering a brand new chair, it was MUCH more affordable and I wouldn't be comfortably sitting on a Zody if not for Crandall.

Great experience overall. I purchased the Steelcase Amia, and am very happy I purchased through Crandall over buying a new one outright. Lower cost, less waste, and I wouldn’t be able to differentiate between this chair and a brand new one. I did have an issue with the seat not staying locked in place; however, after some troubleshooting with the support team (very helpful, responsive, and nice), it was determined I needed a replacement seat. Shipped quickly and at no additional charge. Chair is fully functional. I highly recommend Crandall if you need a top tier office chair for home.

I purchased one of Crandall's refurbished and upgraded seat replacements with the thicker padding for my Steelcase Leap V2. The process to swap out my old seat cushion and send the old one back to recoup the "core charge" (similar to how some parts are sold at auto parts stores) really couldn't have been simpler. Slide off the old pad, slide on the new one, toss the old pad in the box, slap on the provided return label, and send it on it's way.The improved padding on Crandall's refurbished cushions make a major difference in comfort on the Leap V2. Quite frankly, the thin OG pad was the only problem I ever had with my leap V2, and the Crandall seat cushion corrects it. Highly recommended for your leap v2

I researched ergonomic office chairs for weeks before deciding to go with the refurbished Leap V2 from Crandall. They really are an excellent company and were very helpful when I wasn't sure which color combination of fabric I wanted on my chair. I reached out to them and they were so kind to send me fabric swatches of several I was contemplating. I ended up going with a Pebble (tan/taupe) for the back and Wine (reddish burgundy) for the seat, as seen in the photo. I love the color combo and it's an excellent chair!! The thicker padding is very comfortable. I can't wait for their headrest to come out for the Leap! I highly recommend Crandall to anyone looking for an ergonomic office chair!
