Design and Development of the Atlas Headrest for Steelcase Leap V2

In partnership with Atlas, our goal was to adapt their successful headrest design, currently used on the Aeron chair, to fit the Leap chair seamlessly. We focused on ensuring quick and easy installation while matching the fabrics we’ve been using for years. Our refined design allows the headrest to slide into place, snap in quickly, and offer all the adjustability of an Atlas headrest without any hassle.

Material Options for the Atlas Headrest

The Atlas Headrest can be upholstered in our bit black material. When purchasing directly from Crandall Office Furniture, you can choose from our standard fabrics to match your chair perfectly. Atlas will also offer these headrests with their standard fabric and a black leather option.

Release Timeline for the Atlas Headrest

Although we don’t have an exact release date yet, we’re a few months away from being able to place orders. The tooling process is still underway, and we expect some hiccups along the way.
